Happy Friday! What’s going to be your focus today? Is it more self-care? Is it eating healthier? Whatever you are focusing on I want to send you good vibes this beautiful Friday!
Also known as, mile markers in your life that feel both wonderful, and sometimes a little weird. It’s a combination of “Look how far we’ve come and all the amazing things we’ve accomplished…” and “I can’t believe we survived this long.” In just a couple of weeks, we’ll be celebrating our three year anniversary at Garnish Hair Studio & Extension Bar, and it’s got me reminiscing on the great moments, and reflecting on the not so smooth road it took to get here.
How changing you mental can truly change everything. I was blown away at what she had to say and so grateful that I had a chance to be a part of her journey 😍✨💃🏽 Take a look below…
I’m bringing you some California vibes today, so put on your sunnies because you’re about to experience my latest extensions obession: Natural Beaded Rows.
NBR Extensions create a beautiful mane of beachy goodness, with incredible manageability and the ability to totally customize your look. For those reasons alone, you can probably already start to see why I’m addicted, but get ready, because it gets even better.
It’s a beautiful Friday, so let’s talk a little bit about what might often seem like a dirty word in the beauty industry. Celebs deny it, there’s tons of misconceptions about it, and I’m here to tell you a little bit about my personal experience with it. What am I talking about?
Well, Botox. I’ve always had a fascination with instant gratification–it’s part of what I love about extensions and hair transformations. The feeling of being transformed within just a few hours is amazing. It’s no wonder I’m slightly obsessed with every and anything beauty, including all of the latest innovations inside of the medispa world.
It’s a phrase we hear tossed around a lot these days in various contexts, but what does it really mean in terms of your daily life? It would seem self-explanatory. Self Love = loving yourself, but actually applying that can be, well, pretty damn tough. Why is it so hard for us to apply love to ourselves, and why is it SO important?
If you know me in real life or you follow this blog for longer than about five minutes, you’ll see an ongoing theme emerge. I talk a lot about goals. Setting goals, working towards goals, celebrating the achievement of goals…I’m all about ‘em and for good reason.
In the past couple of years, I have seen an ongoing trend of everyday women looking for ways to update their look in a fresh, sexy, and modern way. Long gone are the days of wanting to leave the salon with a polished and set “style”, or color that looks as though you just had it done days before.
There’s a beauty and an elegance that comes with long, free flowing locks. However, being a former pixie cut chic, and now a busy mom of two, I take pride in rocking a bigger than average top knot at least 2 to 3 days a week. I’ve found that I still receive plenty of compliments, and I seem to be able to get away with having it considered a “style”.
One of the newest trends on the hair extension scene is a Custom Colored Halo. These nifty little contraptions are super easy to wear, cost effective, and pack an insane amount of punch and volume to your tresses. Considered a temporary piece, you’re able to take them in and out of your hair yourself. They come in a variety of colors, lengths, and thicknesses to amp up any women’s style.
