I’m a big believer in the universe.
By that I mean that I definitely believe things happen for a reason, and that what you put out will come back to you in some way. Because of this, I am a firm believer in vision statements. I have used vision statements as a way to create what I’ve needed in my life, and every time they have each worked in their own way. When I first had Kingston, I sat down and wrote a vision statement for what I wanted in the person that would take care of my children while I worked.
Despite the NC weather being a bit finnicky lately, in the fashion world Spring is definitely here and Summer is following closely. You all know how much I looove a good fashion trend, and this Spring to Summer season has me head over heels.
If you follow my insta you’ve already seen a couple of my faves show up. Cream colored everything, summer sweaters, slides, and a particular pair of ivory boots that I literally can’t get enough of. Warmer weather also brings on a few other trends for me ranging from reggae music to grilling out to fresh squeezed juices.
It probably seems like Laguna Beach is becoming my second home, and in a way it feels like it is. I’m completely addicted to delving even deeper and learning even more about Natural Beaded Rows Extensions along with elevating my business. This particular trip focused solely on that second part… it was dedicated specifically to evaluating my business in detail alongside my coaches.
Mann, it was an intense four days of learning, growth, and inspiration. There were over 3,000 attendees to the event, which included everyone from entrepreneurs like myself with an established business, to entrepreneurs who were just starting out, to self-made millionaires who are dominating their fields. There were creatives, techies, business people, just about every type of person you could imagine made up the audience and speakers of this event.
Last week I told you all about my education overwhelm, and all of my March trips. This week I wanted to share my experience during the first of my three adventures: the International Beauty Show in New York.
I love to learn, I love to grow, I love to teach… pretty much everything about it. March has been all about education for myself and Garnish, and while I would typically say I can’t get enough of it… I have a confession. I’ve been feeling a bit of education overwhelm. You probably already know that at the beginning of March my team and I took a trip to NYC for the International Beauty Show.
Allow me a bit of a humble brag for a moment and let me tell you... my team is pretty fantastic. If you’ve been following the blog for a while you heard all about the Garnish “Framily” Friendsgiving at the beginning of November.
Friendsgiving kicked off our annual “grind time” and from then until the new year we worked our booties off. Because the holidays are so crazy, we hold our annual holiday dinner in January each year.
It’s about to get real
I’ve been wearing my NBR Extensions for about three months now and, well, I’ve had a few...snafus. If you’ve been into the studio you know I’m pretty much OBSESSED with my NBR extensions, and when they’re extra fluffy I love them even more. And as the person who helped write the maintenance sheet I should’ve been GOLDEN...#famouslastwords
I’ve always loved the idea of being both chic and casual at the same time. As a hairstylist my fashion has always had to have a bit of functionality as well, and my style has evolved accordingly. Now, as a mom to two toddlers, I find myself loving more and more fashion that is about comfort and ease while still looking great and making me feel good wearing it.
